This 45 hour infant toddler course is for DC CENTER STAFF ONLY and meets OSSE requirements for center child care providers . This course introduces the major concepts, principles, theories and research related to the development and care of children birth to three years of age. Participants will learn to create a healthy and safe environment for care and early learning, by applying the principles of infant/ toddler growth and development. (This course is also accepted by the CDA Council for the 45 hour CDA Renewal.) This certification is not accepted by MSDE/OCC in Maryland and refunds will not be given once you begin the course.

In this 3 hour course the participant will explore the importance of play and the role that educators can contribute in preparing their curriculum. CKO Curriculum
